Connect with our friendly alpacas as you explore Historic Rivermill's beautiful riverside farm on a relaxing 30-minute walking experience.

What to Expect:

Your experience begins with a staff-led introduction where you'll learn about alpaca behaviour and how to lead your woolly companion. Then enjoy a self-paced walk through our scenic farm grounds, taking in the riverside views whilst bonding with your alpaca.


Group Details:

- Maximum 2 people per alpaca

- Children aged 5+ can lead an alpaca (with adult supervision)

- Children under 5 welcome to walk alongside for free (cannot lead)


What to Bring:

- Closed-toe shoes (no thongs or sandals)

- Sun protection (hat and sunscreen)

- Weather-appropriate clothing


Important Information:

- Book by 5:00 PM the day before your visit

- Available Wednesday to Sunday during business hours

- Arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time

- Weather-dependent (may be rescheduled in extreme conditions)

- Not wheelchair accessible (uneven farm terrain)
